Life Sciences Award Finalists

Award presentation event at Glasgow Hilton Hotel, hosted by Angellica Bell

Design HOPES celebrated the successes of our projects last week at Scotland’s 2026 Life Sciences Conference & Awards. As finalists in the Sustainability category it was great to be able to present these projects to an amazing audience of scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators working at the cutting edge of Scotlands Life Science sector. Congratulations to all finalists, sustainability winners CMAC, and we look forward to these conversations continuing! Thanks to the team at Scotland’s Life Sciences Conference & Awards for such an enjoyable and dynamic event!

Design HOPES were finalists for our research and innovation through our circular and reusable caps and scrubs projects, reducing single use plastic waste and placing circular principles at the heart of NHS textiles, alongside projects looking at waste reduction in medical grade garments, to projects creating digital tools empowering staff and patients to make more sustainable choices.

Lastly but most importantly, a big thank you to our amazing team who has brought us this far, including our incredible colleagues and collaborators across the NHS, design enterprises and industry and the third sector.
