Supporting a green and just transition for NHS Scotland

Work-in-Progress at the University of Strathclyde

Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) - University of Strathclyde
27 March – 13 June

After a hugely successful exhibition at V&A Dundee, we have begun touring our Work-In-Progress display, with the first stop opening at the Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow on March 27th 2025.

Design HOPES has been working with NHS Scotland as part of the AHRC and Future Observatory Green Transition Ecosystems programme. Using design-led research and collaborative working, we are identifying barriers and opportunities around meaningful change.

Exploring the idea that the climate emergency is a health emergency, Design HOPES is creating, prototyping and testing the tools, behaviours and systems needed to meet, and move beyond, urgent Net Zero goals.

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Design HOPES is a collaborative design-led research initiative, comprising five Scottish Universities (University of Strathclyde, University of Dundee, Heriot Watt University, Abertay University, and the University of Edinburgh), NHS Scotland, the third sector, and design organisations.

This project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) as part of the Future Observatory GTE Hub Programme at the Design Museum.
