About the Project

The lingerie sets are designed to empower women with stomas, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. By normalising ostomy surgery, they aim to reduce reliance on antidepressants, with features like compression layers to conceal stoma pouches and internal pockets to minimize skin contact, potentially decreasing healthcare visits due to infections and irritations. After conducting surveys with healthcare professionals and ostomy patients to gather insights on desirable features for confidence boosting lingerie, I meticulously prototyped various underwear styles, strategically placing seams to minimize bulkiness while maximizing comfort and support, ensuring a delicate yet functional design.
