Exhibition Launch

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new exhibition From HOPE to HEALTH – open from the 2nd Oct 2025, at V&A Dundee.

This exhibition showcases the transformational research developed by Design HOPES, a collaborative, design-led research initiative between five Scottish Universities, NHS Scotland, the third sector, and design organisations.

NHS Scotland has committed to become a net-zero organisation by 2040 or earlier, by reducing waste, carbon emissions, water, energy and travel. And the climate emergency is a health emergency. As our environment continues to change, so do the demands on healthcare services and infrastructure.

From the introduction of sustainable biodegradable textiles, to tools for education and change, the exciting and hopeful projects showcased here point the way towards a just green transition in healthcare, for Scotland.

Come along to find out more!

The exhibition is in the Michelin Design Gallery, V&A Dundee, is free to enter, and runs until 8th Feb 2026
