Jennifer has 12+ years experience in policy related research predominantly centred around social justice, creating more liveable, healthier cities and resilient communities. They are particularly interested in fostering creative practices that can enable pathways towards transformative futures through social learning. They hold a PhD in Human Geography (University of Dundee) and an MRes in Sustainable Development (University of St Andrews).

Design HOPES is a collaborative design-led research initiative, comprising five Scottish Universities (University of Strathclyde, University of Dundee, Heriot Watt University, Abertay University, and the University of Edinburgh), NHS Scotland, the third sector, and design organisations.

This project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) as part of the Future Observatory GTE Hub Programme at the Design Museum.
